Abstract

The action-research conducted in the context of the final project aimed to design and implement an intervention focused on developing and applying assessment instruments in the classroom, to improve the evaluative practices of early childhood educators. The program was implemented over two months and included seven 45-minutes sessions during working hours. The research is oriented toward a practical solution to the real-life situation identified within the intervened educational community, focusing on generating theoretical and practical tools for the selection and development of assessment instruments. Each session was designed with a structure that addressed the session’s objective, along with strategies and resources for its implementation. As for the results, it can be observed that the educators perceive an increase in their knowledge and an improvement in their assessment practices. It was also observed that the intervention had a positive impact on the emotional well-being of the educators by reducing the stress and burden associated with the assessment.
