DefinitionMusic therapy is the use of music dosed in the treatment, rehabilitation, education and training of children and adults with physical, mental or emotional disorders.
Premise
The therapeutic value of music lies in the relationship that the person establishes with her. In this case, the music is not an end in itself and virtually no relation to quality or the perfection of executions.
The origin of music
The man has believed, at one time, the sound was a cosmic elemental force and acquired verbally. There are many legends about the creation of the universe in which sound plays a major role. Here's how the music has been linked to the magical and is closely related to religion. Combarieu states that in all known civilizations, music has been taken by the product of divine origin. There has been a belief, too, that music could be used by evil spirits and lead men to destruction; If the siren song of Odysseus that caused sailors were thrown into the sea and died drowned.
