Abstract

A standardized technique for dry cleaning and finishing textile garments in alpaca, cotton, linen and silk fibers was developed. This technique uses ecological inputs and is based on a three-unit process: a unit for adequacy of textile garments to classify and prepare textile garments according to colour, type of garment and degree of impregnated fats; textile washing unit eliminated waxes, fats, paraffins and other materials present and; textile finishing unit, improving the appearance of textile garments and complying with quality parameters such as pilling level, organoleptic parameters, color fastness to light and dimensional stability. An ecological solvent (DF-2000) and textile garments in alpaca, cotton, linen and silk fibers and their combinations were used. Parameters such as temperature, inputs, time, drum speed and bath ratio were analyzed for each type of fiber and combinations. Preliminary results indicate that the technique on the fibers studied has efficient results in the quality parameters valued by customers, reduces environmental impact, promotes more sustainable washing practices, reduces reprocessing and operating costs, efficient use of inputs and resources, allowing efficient management. purchase of inputs more accurate.
