When implementing and developing projects which involve natural resources, problems in use and need present themselves. There is usually competition between users and interested parties. Integral management of Hydric Resources promotes the use, development and coordinated continuity of the resource and integrates the focus of the key players involved. In carrying out the TwinLatin Project (Twinnig of The River Basins) there is a return to the concept of citizen participation applied during all phases of research. Likewise, qualitative methods were developed, such as, problem solving, workshops, interviews and discussion groups. Active involvement, at different levels, of parties interested in the protection of the river basin. Keywords: Integral management; Hydric resources; parties interest; citizen participation
