The design and operation of hydraulic works require, in general, information flows from a long period. In our country, long series are not common, even more so if the site of interest does not coincide with the national network of measurements. The hydrologist is the need to model the hydrological process in order to meet the requirements. The objective of this research is to discover and bring to light some problems that can occur and complicate the hydrologic modeling, real situation in our country.
The first part of the research was the analysis of changes in the ratio of the sheet of rain basin flows couple different time steps (from 1 day to 30 days), where the magnitudes of the plates and flows were determined by the procedure of the moving average. The other part of the research is the application of conceptual hydrological models to observe the effect of that relationship on the outcome of the modeling.
We conclude that investigated the relationship watershed rainfall-flow sheet observed tends to increase with increasing time step. In the case of 1 day the success of the modeling results is related to the behavior of the rainfall-flow relationship.
