The Nursing profession is a dynamic and active major, characterized by the development of human skills and abilities. For this reason, simulation laboratory practice is an essential part of the teaching-learning process, since it seeks to respond to the cognitive and operational development of students, with the purpose to transform it into meaningful learning, which will be reflected in their operation within real scenarios. The descriptive study had a sample of 147 people, belonging to Universidad Católica de El Salvador: 61 students from the Ilobasco Multidisciplinary Faculty, located in the department of Cabañas; and 86 students from the headquarters located in the department of Santa Ana. Specific closed multiple-response questionnaires and observation guides were administered to collect the information. The results show that 83% of the population is satisfied with these practices; Likewise, the didactic spaces and resources used are described. It can be emphasized that the classrooms in which the simulation is run are appropriate; however, these have an opportunity for improvement.
