Abstract

Salvadoran society has been affected to a large extent by crime rates, which, despite the programs and strategies implemented by the government to combat it, have not been sufficient or have not yielded the desired results, such as the reduction of the crime
Some of the programs and strategies that can be mentioned are the hardening of the penal system, the suppression of some constitutional guarantees and the diversity of reactive programs against crime, such as "the super-tough", "offensive against crime" and the most recent "Crusade against crime".
