The theoretical-methodological perspective, but fundamentally political, from which the workshop is developed is linked to the thought of the CLACSO Group and ULEU. Critical extension. Theories and practices in Latin America and the Caribbean: “Critical extension has been consolidating as a process of dialogue of knowledge, critical, horizontal that links educators of various kinds (university, technical, leaders of movements and social organizations, etc.) with sectors popular, in the search and construction of a more just, supportive and equal society, where the processes of oppression-domination disappear and where anti-capitalist, feminist and de-colonial proposals are generated and strengthened ”.
In short, this article seeks to contribute to the strengthening and consolidation of communication processes, to contribute to the integration processes of teaching, research and extension, to support and disseminate the work carried out on human rights, solidarity economy, food sovereignty and productive development that provide for joint work with society.
