Health Promotion through Extension Actions. Proposal of the Bolivarian University of Ecuador

Abstract

Ecuadorian universities are called to benefit the advancement of the social and professional context through the University Extension process, by applying and generalizing their research results for social development. The extension process developed by universities in Ecuador has mechanisms that endow them with dynamism and vitality, impacting society and contributing to its transformation; as unveiling the University-Society relationships through the extension process requires and demands permanent adjustments.
