The government of Nicaragua, its institutions and regional governments have joined forces to materialize the union and socio-cultural exchange between the Pacific region and the Caribbean. Likewise, the nation's legal framework has made it possible to lay the foundations for achieving development in rural and special áreas such as the Autonomous Region of the North and South Caribbean Coast of the country; At the same time, the different strategies, programs and governance models create an ecosystem that harmonizes and interacts to strengthen the governance of indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples.
