The incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies in education has the function of being a channel of communication and exchange of knowledge and experiences; They are instruments for processing information, knowledge management, sources of resources, play environment and cognitive development. The use of technology allows us to get in touch with students, facilitates the completion of tasks, contributes to improving learning, and makes the student the protagonist of their own learning. This research aims to evaluate the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the learning process of the subject Education to learn, undertake and prosper in the eleventh grade of the National Institute of Camoapa Dr. Manuel Salvador Guadamuz between July-September 2021, with a descriptive methodology, non-experimental and mixed approach, using three techniques for data collection: semi-structured interview, online survey and direct observation; to identify the technological tools, the use of these and the methodological strategies that are implemented during the development of the subject. As main results we obtained that Information and Communication Technologies are a pedagogical tool of great importance in the learning process, that the National Institute of Camoapa is equipped with the basic technological tools, but the teacher in charge of the subject needs to strengthen their knowledge, put into practice innovation and creativity to implement Information and Communication Technologies, given that students have greater mastery, are motivated and easily appropriate new technologies. In turn, it was found that the teacher when teaching the subject makes exclusive use of the methodological strategy based on collaborative work, guiding students to carry out tasks or work through interaction between members of the same group.
