The study was conducted in eight production units Moyúa Ramsar Site, the main objective was to characterize socioeconomically and environmentally agro production units, in order to assist in the recovery or maintenance of soil quality, water and sustainability of agro-ecosystems and the surrounding environment. The variables measured were: social and economic, ecological conditions, physical and chemical parameters of soil, agronomical and zootechnical management. The main results of the study found that the current management and operation of the production units do not improve the quality of life of producers, natural resources are being affected by production practices as agricultural burning, use of chemicals and increased the agricultural area, without any impact on the productive profitability. Climatic ecological conditions such as temperature, day length, height above sea level are optimal for the development of crops that are set except for annual rainfall 787 mm, with a factor of crop losses due to drought. The texture, pH, stoniness, depth, are at adequate levels, some macro and micro nutrients are low for some cases being due to apply amendments, handling both agricultural and livestock of production units is not indicated, were proposed alternatives to improve yields without affecting natural resources water, soil, air and forests which should be retained for developing sustainable tourism for which he is renowned this site.
