Many are the religious denominations that stand out the spiritual stage in Cuba; of those which the majority was introduced to ends of the century XIX and along the later century. In these religious tendencies, finds the Pentecostalism, which has is to object of multiple investigations from the social sciences; however, still they remain aspects for outlining. The present study is developed whose general objective is: to assess the socio-religious and ethical principles disseminated by the magazine “Pentecostal Torch” between 1940 and 1959. The magazine in question is the Official Organ the Pentecostal Churches “Assemblies of God in Cuba”, and its study will allow the understanding of essence of religious and moral thought promoted by Pentecostalism in this country. For the development of this work, the Cuban context at the arrival of the first missionaries was taken into account, and the importance that this magazine had for dissemination of Pentecostal doctrines as a regulator of behaviors, values, and life expectations.
