Abstract

In today's world, characterized by the breakneck speed of information flow and globalization, where the internet eliminates borders and distances and immediacy is commonplace, research plays a central role as a generator of reliable, innovative knowledge with the potential for social transformation. However, there is a worrying disconnect between those who produce this knowledge and those who could benefit from it. Therefore, it is essential to understand that research does not fully achieve its purpose if it is not disseminated.

Research allows us to discover, understand, and solve problems that affect individuals, institutions, and the planet as a whole. From the creation of vaccines to the analysis of social dynamics, including technological advancements and humanistic studies, research is building the foundations of progress. Every study, however modest it may seem, is another piece in the puzzle of human knowledge.
