The research seeks to determine the level of preparation for lecture and writing learning in children from section 3 (6 years) through the application of ABC test in 12 public and private educative centers, as well as asking the perception of the teacher about the methodology used for preparation for lecture and writing. We worked with 286 boys and girls and 12 female teachers. The most relevant findings were that methodological practices used by teachers in lecture and writing learning in their students had a negative influence, because 83% from them continue using synthetic methods (traditional), not taking care of psychomotor, affective and language areas. Therefore, we can conclude that from the 12 investigated educative centers, only 2 (17%) of them could get a high percentage (with a learning deficit of 28%) and the rest of them stay at a middle level (learning deficit of 48%). This indicates that although they have children reading, they have many deficiencies in their skills, becoming this an obstacle in the near future to acquire a good reading comprehension.
