The professionals interviewed for this article, reaffirm the centrality of the human being in aeronautics and remember that this centrality is usually taken for granted. In healthy contrast to an automated environment, Universities would be expected to develop in students abilities to problematize the procedures of industrial environments, while retaining an ethical position. Among the topics of great importance for the human factor in civil aviation (HFCA), the relationship between automated management levels and decision-making systems with command oversight are mentioned; risk management and prediction; accident investigation and preventive systems; language and imagery in interaction with automated data integration systems. They are actors linked to the subject of HFCA, the institutions that do research in the field of aeronautical sciences, aircraft manufacturers and Aeronautical Authorities. It is important to maintain the investment of training of the HFCAs, since the neglect of the person in the aeronautical industry can impact the productivity and even the viability of the aeronautical companies. The training of personnel to migrate to new technology depends less on the requirements of the subject to be trained and more on parameters of the market and the national aeronautical industries. The main challenge for the human factor in aviation could be the articulation of a general public policy around the increase in safety, and value chains, that can be monitored and its results evaluated.
