In this study two types of wingsuits are used (GUS and AURA) using a water tunnel implementing fluid flow visualization techniques. Different aerodynamic characteristics around and on the surface of different models with design changes are discussed. The objective of the study includes determining which part of the wingsuit induces more lift, by altering the original design of both wingsuits using Ink Flow Method and Red Dot Method water tunnel visualization techniques. It is determined how different wingsuit designs affect the aerodynamic performance and flight stability of the wingsuit. Velocity profiles and related properties of fluid flow are obtained instantly by implementing an optical flow visualization method called Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV).
