Abstract

This work begins by exemplifying the cultural dependency of the vision of the celestial space and universe to reflect on the role that the native peoples are playing in the great space and astronomical projects and associated power relations. Finally, the importance and need for its inclusion in national public policies on space issues is analyzed and the search for a multicultural concept of space is advocated.
