Sociospatial analysis with Geographic Information Systems. Conceptual framework based on the theory of Geography The current potential of the Geographic Information Systems and the development of the Spatial Decision Support Systems have provided new possibilities for the study of spatial locations, distributions, associations, interactions and evolutions. The methodologies of major application were developed in the interior of rationalist and quantitative perspectives which founds in the theory of Complex Systems the framework that justifies spatial focalization. The present work arrives to the consideration of a theoretical framework based on the theory of Geography in seeking concrete results through an applied science that allows acting on empirical reality.
