Abstract

Under the various research projects under the methodologies of Geographic Information Technologies (GIT) and Remote Sensing, which conducted studies of objects or ground cover without being in direct contact with them to check their accuracy pattern or characteristic is necessary to have a library or inventory of the spectral signatures for each plant species, to match with what was found in images obtained by satellite remote. Based on the above is intended to create a catalog of spectral signatures of different materials or covered with soil, in the space by the limits of the university city of Tegucigalpa (UNAH), supporting the identification and classification of coverage and land use, and establish a methodology for capturing spectral signatures in the wild.
