Methodological review of the focus groups

This methodological review seeks to determine how four application criteria -indepth information, number of participants, participants’ profile, and the moderator’s role- make the focus group a valuable and useful technique for collecting qualitative information. In order to determine how these criteria are met, ten empirical articles utilizing the focus group as a datacollecting technique were overviewed.
