Abstract

There exists nowadays a wide variety of technological tools that can be used in education, so that teacher cannot claim to be disconnected or to be unaware of such tools. That is why, in this paper, the author approaches, from his teaching experience, different technological tools that can be incorporated in the instructional process. So the author shares some ideas, insights and hints on how to effectively use them to enhance instruction in face-to-face, blended or eLearning contexts. Besides, he provides an inventory of more effective teaching tools, the type of instructional activity they better suit and the impact they can get in learning. But the author also reflects on the importance of using technology in a pedagogical manner, stressing the need to understand TIC as a means and not as an end in itself.
