Abstract

The starting point of this essay is that education has always been considered as a perfecting and transforming process, as a transition of the human being from one state which is less developed, unfinished and imperfect to another state which is more  developed, finished and perfected. From this, the authors proposes in this essay that beyond that premise there is a dynamic
trend in the human being that urges him, from his essence, to his self-realization, to achieve “a state of happiness”: the full and harmonic development of all his diverse human dimensions. Education, as a searching process, supplies and compliments all that is missing in the human being, as an imperfect being, to accomplish full happiness and thus, selfrealization and perfection.
