In this article the author approaches of teacher’s teaching practice and how these practices in a hidden way model an individual that rather than projecting towards the transformation of himself/ herself, reproduces –perpetuating in the end- those same social, cultural, economical and political values of the society in which he or she is immersed. In like manner, the author approaches the educational system, the curriculum and the school as configuring frames that influence not only the teacher´s teaching practices, but also how they impinge on the student to shape him/her according to the system and society they live in. This analysis is carried out under the critical pedagogy.
