Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the «violences» that are present in the LatinAmerican urban contexts. It also reflects about the elements that characterize people’s personality and culture of the different countries. Then it is shows the relationship created among children that are victims of violence and abuse, and how they can become victimizers when adults, if this circle of violence is not cut off. This remarks and justifies education and family life. Finally, there is a proposal of the Embracing Pedagogy to approach violence, mostly in school contexts.
