Preparation of the early childhood teacher for the confrontation of climate change

The preparation of teaching staff to face climate change, as part of continuous and permanent education, responds to the current social transformations and demands of the Cuban educational policy that is being carried out now, representing a necessary task with great impact. The research carried out defines as objective: present the experience of educational multimedia that contributes to the preparation of teachers to face climate change with which teachers have the possibility of interacting with sounds, images, videos, animations, graphics, texts, and exercises, which enrich the content and desired aspirations. Research methods of the theoretical, empirical, and mathematical levels were used, as well as the criteria of specialists for the evaluation of the proposal, revealing the limited knowledge that teachers present about the theoretical conceptions of climate change and its treatment in the activities of the educational process, for which multimedia was elaborated because it is an interactive and innovative computer medium that allows offering knowledge and didactics of the subject to teachers, it has bibliographic sources, teaching materials to consult related to climate change and the Plan of State for Confronting Climate Change “Life Task”, videos, glossary of terms, educational activities, educational games, daily planning for different years of life and guidance for the family, aimed at addressing actions and environmental problems on climate change.
