Abstract

The results presented in this paper were gathered from the research carried out in Colegio Instituto Técnico Laureano Gómez, an educational institution in Bogotá, through a sample of 6 third-grade students with Temporary Educational Needs (TEN). The learning environment was designed in three parts: oral expression, literal reading and inferential reading. The research aim was to determine the contribution of a learning environment mediated by TIC in the strengthening of the Reading communicative competence. The research was developed under the qualitative approach with a design of a unique case study. It was found that the three competences were strengthened.
