Encuentro is a quarterly scientific publication of the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA). Unpublished articles and essays published in Spanish or English that are the result of empirical or theoretical or philosophical about any aspect of reality in Nicaragua or Central America. It regularly includes original articles, research progress, review articles, book reviews, lectures, short communications and specific sections commissioned by the Editorial Committee.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
