Abstract

The investigation addresses the relevance of the dynamic ecosystems of entrepreneurship taking as a reference the context of Honduras and the region of the Comayagua valley. We highlight the necessity of interaction between the different actors of society for generating meaningful results on benefit for the entrepreneurs, increasing their sales and improving their quality of life.

We present different postures about the entrepreneurship ecosystems, emphasizing in the necessity of coordinate the actors for developing a entrepreneurial culture. The authors cited include Isenberg and Moore, who offer different approaches in the comprehension of the business ecosystems and their components.

The article explores the Model of Net Entrepreneurship (MER) adapted from Gibb, highlighting the stages in which an entrepreneur must go through to create a business in a business net. These stages include the knowledge of business nets, acquisition of motivation and business ideas, the validation of ideas, the definition of the scale of operation and identification of the necessary resources, negotiation of market entry, born or creation of business and survival.

A characterization is made of all sectors involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystems of the region, including public and private actors, facilitators and international cooperation. Emphasis is placed on the interrelationships between the components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Honduras, highlighting areas such as financing support, policies, markets, human resources, infrastructure, research, development, and culture.

We conclude that since Comayagua is an agro-industrial zone with great business potential, we have a quality infrastructure in terms of highways and roads.
