Procedure for the formation of competences in scientific-technological management in students of sociocultural management

The research arises due to the need presented by the students of the degree course in Sociocultural Management of the University of Holguin, Cuba, for the development of scientific-technological management and its materialization in the investigative labor practice as competence; which limits the fulfillment of the demands established by the professional’s model. The general objective of this study is to design a procedure that enhances the scientific-technological management perspective. As such, it is carried out from actions and operations for the formation and management of scientific and technological knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in students to manage science and technology. Thus, in the collection of scientific information, surveys, interviews, discussion groups and review of documents were used, which made possible the treatment of training with emphasis on competences in scientific-technological management. The experts’ criteria made possible the validation of the proposed proposal.
