Abstract

The objective of this article is to evaluate the quality of patient care at the specialized dental unit, Hospital Militar Escuela “Dr. Alejandro Dávila Bolaños”. This is a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional and prospective study carried out at Hospital Militar Escuela “Dr. Alejandro Dávila Bolaños”. The importance of this study lies in its contribution to the body of knowledge in the field of dentistry and public health, offering concrete data on the situation in a specific context. These findings can serve as a basis for future research or for the implementation of health policies. The information was collected in the specialized dental unit by means of a survey guide. The study universe consisted of 125 patients. The main results show that the prevailing age group is 31 - 40 years old, the predominant gender is female, the dominant origin is urban, the predominant level of education is professional, the patients who attend the most are those insured by the INSS (Social Security Institute). The physical structure, medical equipment, number of collaborators, treatment, information provided, communication, waiting and procedure time and the service provided are excellent. Patients were satisfied with the care provided.
