This study aims at the inclusion of the transverse axis of climate change on the subject of Agricultural Genetics and environmental damages being experienced basic grain crops and vegetables obtained through process improvements, with economic importance to the department Matagalpa. It attempts to relate the subject with climate effects are already being evident in our region and thus take advantage of the flexibility the university curriculum allows for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary reflection that allows teachers, students and society. It was decided to incorporate the transverse axis of climate change, irrigation management and environment in the subject mentioned, developing a constructivist methodology that achieves significant attitude meaningful learning and personal development of students, with critical awareness of environmental issues and thus have a better use of resources. This research work is the result of Diploma in Risk Management and Climate Change and the emergent need to study both natural and anthropogenic phenomena that affect agricultural production and the relationship that should exist in the classroom theory with practice.
