The investigative work was carried out in the company Joya de Nicaragua, S.A. It aimed at evaluating the “Implementation of the integrated manufacturing system in the productive processes in the tobacco company Joya de Nicaragua, S.A. during the year 2018”. Based on the research problem and the proposed objectives, the approach is qualitatively causal correlations. It is a study of explanatory scope because it focuses on studying the relationship of the implementation of the integrated manufacturing system in the productive processes, and from them to strengthen the business strategies. The research used theoretical and practical methods to develop instruments to compile all the timely information; these were interview guide, documentary review guide, observation guide, and focal groups. One of the findings was that the production processes are under the characteristics of batch processes during which lean manufacturing techniques such as Quality control, six sigmas, internal control matrix system, Productivity improvement, and Deming cycle are implemented. In this study, it is concluded that to achieve the effectiveness of the integrated manufacturing system, and it is necessary to strengthen internal administrative control. It is also vital to implement the strategy proposal plan, based on the strategies of functions and strategies that will guarantee the documentation of all the information that is generated in the production processes, attending to the high management to have more detail of all the information that will allow the decision making.
