This article discusses the operation of the administrative process for the exportation of coffee, in the Multi-Service Cooperative “El Gorrión”, R.L- San Sebastián de Yalí, Nicaragua. Some strategies are proposed to strengthen the process to export coffee to differentiated markets. According to the level of knowledge this research is applied and according to the philosophical approach is qualitative or mixed because it analyzes the problem of the administrative process for export and studies the quality control variables on the farm of the producing partners. The universe is six hundred and thirty-five members of the multi-service cooperative “ El Gorrión” R.L. The data collection techniques were: Documentary research, interviews, two hundred and forty producer surveys were applied and an observation was made on a partner’s farm. The main results reflect that a correct application of the quality criteria required by the cooperative influences the amount of coffee exported to the international market. Producers to obtain certification must fulfil with differentiated market rules and laws, give their farms good handling, have restricted water sources and avoid environmental pollution. As a strategy it is proposed to provide training for the administrative area on marketing issues, take advantage of the admission of new partners, proper use of the financing provided by the cooperative and reduce the level of nonpayment of the producers.
