Abstract

The present questions that gravitate in this essay are: Who educates and what does educate for? But above all, are there ways in which emotional education, horizontality, critical thinking and popular education can take special interest to undertake strengthening processes in educational spaces specifically oriented to literacy education with adults and older adults? If so, will it be possible to design a socio-educational intervention strategy that strengthens the learning, training and personal development processes of students in the literacy stage, and specifically older adults; improving their quality of life and comprehensive well-being, from Motivation, Self-esteem and Self care as essential axes of the intervention methodology?
