This article strive for discuss the urban archeology of the city of San Vicente, El Salvador, based on an archaeological find identified by an inspection of the Directorate of Built Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of El Salvador. This research seeks to highlight the archaeological potential of San Vicente, from an analysis of the construction stages of the former City Hall, current Municipal Palace destroyed by the earthquakes of January 13 and mainly February 13, 2001.
