The Salvadorean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, hereinafter MINEDUCYT, carried out a research to investigate the training of teachers in the country which focused on the psycho[1]pedagogical approach to the development of teaching-learning of Resilience, Socioemotional Skills and Socioemotional Learning at the primary education level in El Salvador. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to show the results of said research. Given the variety of educational problems that arose as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the MYNEDUCYT decided to explore various psycho-pedagogical methodologies to address these difficulties, and thus provide the strategies and tools to teachers to better assist their students in the classroom, as well as strengthen the educational process and enhance the academic and socio-emotional learning of students. The teacher training in El Salvador has undergone a transformation process according to the needs shown by the context of the Salvadoran reality in the field of education.
