During this period a complex system of transportation and communication that united the continents and constantly timestamps broke into marine travel and cargo capacity was established. This nautical phenomenon was vital for industrial and economic development of many countries in the Americas. The large number of products being transported by these ships including indigo and coffee generated revenue for the development of countries with ports on the Pacific Ocean possible.
