Abstract

"The anthropomorphic vision of religion as the basis of artistic expression of faith"
In most religions man has always expressed transcendent realities with an anthropomorphic vision. Especially in Judaism and Christianity, this view has led to attribute characteristics to God that inspired the plastic representation. Thus, when it is described in the scriptures that God hears, sees, walks with his people, hugs, hits, has a sword in his hand, etc. They are expressions of the nearness of God's transcendence. This artistic expression over time in Christianity took shape in Western arts so that the plastic culture of peoples was coated sacredness. However, with the advent of modern culture, with mass production and vision of disposables, it has made us lose the value of the sacred and culturally. It is necessary to recapture the spirit of humanity and the values of culture and faith emanate.
