Abstract

El Salvador was one of the countries whose heyday came after the process of Independence with the arrival of the republican era. Gains occurred coffee cultivation allowed the construction of elite buildings with strong influences of imported architecture of Europe in the vicinity of what is now established as the center of San Salvador.

In this territorial context, but it redefined culturally started in 1986 architectural expansion of the campus of the Technological University of El Salvador, which today forms a unique urban landscape with 21 buildings ocher and scattered cream on the west end of downtown city and reflected the aggressive commitment Utec-beyond his university- community that extends to society through the preservation of cultural heritage university.
