Historical research in management projects of built heritage. Methodological proposal

This study, conducted in 2007-2008 as a master's thesis defines a methodology for conducting historical research in management projects and management of the built heritage. Constituting an important contribution, since the sources studied so far were only to provide a methodological guide only when intervening in a building.It exemplified the need taking as a specific case the former Convent of Santa Clara de Asis, in the light of its restoration to host the National Center for Conservation, Restoration and Museology (CENCREM), and as building equity which was not correctly applied the test history in its project management. In addition, the development of this research on methodological procedures common to other realities solve these problems in Cuba and Latin America.
The proposal builds on the definition of the subject matter according to the classification of cultural heritage given by law, it analyzes the situation of the information you have been on it, and then perform the proper research in chronological order. Ending with the preparation of the report of the results obtained, to complete the basis of historical data on the treaty. Is thus defined, the most perfect way possible, the research approach proposed.
