Flavors Through Time: Food present in the current Salvadoran territory since Pre-Hispanic Times, Some considerations on the construction of the Nicaraguan national identity in the 19th century, Planning of the steps to follow in an exhibition, said investigations enrich knowledge about identity culture of each region.

    Vol. 1 No. 13 (2022)

    In this number 13, Kóot, presents 6 articles that deal with various topics, for example museology, in which the description of one of the activities carried out by the American Museum of Poetry in Washington, D.C. is made, facilitating a place for dialogue between poetry, music and the plastic arts in the bowels of the great metropolis, as well as articles that deal with philosophy, one of them directed as an approach to existentialism analyzing its fundamental theses from antecedents in the history of philosophy and from the most relevant works of the various authors who have been considered existentialists; and a second that refers to the main ideas, both of the Discourse on Method and of Descartes's metaphysical meditations; we also have two articles referring to emigration in which Carmen Tamacas narrates her experiences as an emigrant to the United States, her customs of life and the hard journey she makes; A second article that relates the current political situation of both nations, which puts the dreams of emigrants at risk. On the other hand, the biography of the Marine Priest Johannes Braspenning is presented, making a chronological journey in the life of the man who offered his struggle and sacrifice to the people of Ilobasco, in his search to find a purpose in life and the right position where to exercise his labor missionary.
