Calciphylaxis
Abstract
Calciphylaxis is a vascular disease characterized by calcification of the middle layer of the blood vessels and proliferation of the intima of the same, associated with fibrosis and luminal thrombosis, which leads to necrosis of surrounding tissues, especially soft tissues.
