Atopic dermatitis (AD) has become a health problem in our environment due to the increase in its prevalence, the alteration in quality of life, the costs it causes and its implication in the progression to other atopic diseases. In addition, it does not have a definitive cure, so the application of preventive measures would be interesting. We understand primary prevention as the set
of actions aimed at preventing the onset of a disease, while secondary prevention refers to providing early diagnosis and treatment that allows morbidity and/or mortality to be reduced. In the first case, we would try to reduce the incidence of AD, and in the second, severity and complications.
