The Graduate of Pediatrics of the National Autonomous University of Honduras in the Valley of Sula (UNAH-VS) began in 2006, and brought the opportunity to many pediatricians to exercise the roll of teacher in front of general practitioners who are trained as new specialists in Pediatrics. This project undoubtedly became the biggest challenge faced by the Department of Pediatrics of the Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas National Hospital (HNMCR). In the hands of Dr. Luis Enrique Jovel López in the coordination six promotions graduated, a total of 43 new pediatricians.
Nine years after its creation, new challenges have arisen and the coordinator's role remains fundamental to achieve communion in the development of the three fundamental functions of the UNAH: academic, research and links.
