Abstract

The Medicine Career at the Regional University Center of the North (today UNAH-VS), was born to respond mainly to the health and education needs of the north-western part of the country. The creation of this race has generated great interest and expectations in the society of the northern and western regions of the country, since to achieve its gestation it was supported and participated by different sectors such as: The Sampedrana Foundation of the School of Medicine ( FUSEMED), the addresses of the Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas Hospitals (HNMCR), Leonardo Martínez Valenzuela Hospital (HLMV) and the Organization of Medicine Students enrolled in the CURN.
