Abstract

Chilaiditi's sign is a radiological sign consisting of the abnormal presence of air in the subphrenic space, caused by the interposition of an intestinal loop. It usually occurs in people over 60 years of age, with a history of cancer, chronic obstructive disease (COPD), obesity and pregnancy.
