Abstract

Michel Foucault theorized about a new form of technology called biopolitic power, whose objective is to influence, organize and shape human life for the needs of existence of modern capitalism. Within the framework of a neoliberal economic system this biopolitic power is exacerbated, transforming itself into a global power in order to maintain secured the conditions for reproduction of capital; it also provokes the risk of destroying life.
