Abstract

This article was based on the recreation of experiences "Intercultural Community Accompaniment of URACCAN in the elaboration of the community governance statutes in Kamla, Sumubila and Tuapi Communities, Autonomous Region of the Northern Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua". It presents the contributions of URACCAN as Intercultural Community University in the processes of linking University - Community in the strengthening of community governance in three communities of the municipality of Puerto Cabezas, through the elaboration of the statutes of communal governance and intercultural life plans as reference documents for the consolidation of their governance, regulate their rights and obligations, especially, establish some guidelines for the sustainable use of natural resources, among other aspects to achieve the good living of these communities
