Abstract

This article presents how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed how we interact with multimedia resources in Higher Education. AI has improved the quality of content, automated and facilitated production, and enabled the personalization of resources. In addition, the challenges associated with using AI in this context, such as ethics and privacy, have been examined. The methodology is focused on a systematic review of the scientific literature of the main databases, documentary type, framed in a qualitative approach, which supports the claims and provides a comprehensive vision of the relationship between AI and multimedia resources. It can be stated that this research seeks to communicate and share the answers to some concerns about the benefits of using AI in the development of resources for Higher Education to stimulate students in various ways of learning. It is concluded that AI is a powerful tool that can significantly improve the quality of content used in education and make it more inclusive for students with disabilities. Personalization, adaptability, quality improvement, and innovation in multimedia content are just some advantages of using AI in education. Educators must be responsible and ethical in their use of AI to ensure that it is used appropriately to improve education.
